6LoWSoft_20 for Precision Agriculture
6LoWSoft_20
We share the software suite of this project.
1) The software installed on the sensing motes, is called "6LoWSoft_mote", it is an application for TinyOS and is based on this application, which has been modified to some extent
with the RPL protocol for routing, saving energy and communication with our database as well.
2) Meanwhile, the software installed on the computer assigned to communicate
with the sink node is called "6LoWSoft_util" and allow the computer receives data from
the sink node and redirect it to the database.
3) In turn, the software that generates the database for the first time is called
"6LoWSoft_DB" and is used in the DB server.
4) The project site called "6LoWSoft_web" is installed on the web server and is
seen in Internet with the data in the form of graphs and charts to make it
understandable to end users.
* The software installed on the sink node is the "PppRouter" that comes by
default in TinyOS 2.x in the path: "/opt/tinyos-2.X/apps/ PppRouter/".
The main contribution of 6LowSoft_20 is the integration of several technologies
to perform the stage of sensing, transport, routing, data storing, data manage and its
visualization. For this purpose has been used free software in all the work,
so to interact with servers we are working is by LAMP architecture
(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) in addition this, the graphs obtained are based
on Flash graphs, by means of customizing of Open Flash Chart Project, adding also the option of represent in real time the data collected using AJAX.
